That was released a couple of weeks ago because of some problem at the ice cream parlor in North Jersey where it was shot. Could be a shake and fake though? A shot they dont end up using, like the one with the NY Jets coach this past week at the restaurant.

Scav 06-05-2007 02:55 PM

They shot 4 different ending for the final episode to throw the public off....

Hopefully, one of them (at least) involves a naked Meadow.

I think it's a fake, the ice cream parlor is on you tube. And Melfi was brought in to do some reshoots with Tony after wrap up.
Hey what about evil janice, maybe she whacks Phil, she whacked Ritchie.
My husband thinks everyone is gonna whack everyone...
Seriously had grief they whacked Sil, Bobby well I sort of expected that but Sil. Tears....
David Chase says that the only movie line that has interested him is to do a movie about the grandparents coming to America....Godfather 2.
I just hate that it's ending. I rewatched the first episode last night, it's such a GREAT show.

T MINUS 9 HOURS!!!!

FGFan 06-10-2007 02:04 PM

T minus 6,
I have a new final prediction, in my fantasy the end is Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci are sent by New York to put an end to the war....
Is everyone eating gabagool tonite?

Scav 06-10-2007 02:54 PM

I think they have done a great job having the ability of going so many ways with the ending, hopefully it is one of the greatest 50 minutes of cable TV

Storm Cadet 06-10-2007 03:09 PM

T5 hours...already munching on stuffed olives, peppers stuffed with prochuitto, soposad sweet sausage, bread...watching NASCAR rain delay, Yankees game :D and PGA tour.

Coach Pants 06-10-2007 06:14 PM

105 minutes!!!!

Storm Cadet 06-10-2007 09:04 PM

What the F?

packerbacker7964 06-10-2007 09:05 PM

WTF kind of ending is that? There is going to be a movie I can see it from a mile away.

Buffymommy 06-10-2007 09:06 PM

What the F kind of ending was that?

Scav 06-10-2007 09:07 PM

Yeah, the only thing I can think of is that Meadow heard something and came running in because of it, because that guy was going into the bathroom Godfather style

ALostTexan 06-10-2007 09:07 PM

That is all I can say, too. WTF?

Coach Pants 06-10-2007 09:08 PM

That was a good ending. Nervous for Tony and everything turned out ok (except for Carlo flippin)

MaTH716 06-10-2007 09:14 PM

That what f'n horrible!

Scav 06-10-2007 09:15 PM

I thought it was just my computer acting up

I am so disgusted! They must be setting up for a movie, that could be the only explanation for an episode so crappy! Jesus Medow, Stevie Wonder could have parked the damn car faster than that!

mclem10011 06-10-2007 09:18 PM

Though I said.....

"That's it"? After the credits popped up, i'm sitting here pondering what it means. Could their be a film in the works, and so the family lives on, and we pick up their story there? Or do they suprise the fans, and come back with another season, some HBO specials, or movies or what?

Yeah, she must have known something about what was going down there or something, the look on her face has some meaning

MaTH716 06-10-2007 09:19 PM

I cant figure out if the song has some kind of clue "don't stop believing" by journey!
"don't stop believing" that this is the end?
"don't stop believing"everything goes on as normal?
"don't stop believing"We ran out of people to whack?
"don't stop believing"That an episode can suck as bad as this?

Coach Pants 06-10-2007 09:20 PM

I don't think they left any loose ends. The ending is pretty self explanatory. The guy staring at them was a red herring.

mclem10011 06-10-2007 09:21 PM

They must have left....

It hanging like that for some legit reason, yet to unfold? To NOT do something going forward with this kinda ending, would be an insult to us as fans!

It is something to continue my pain from when the White Sox won the World Series

red herring?

mclem10011 06-10-2007 09:23 PM

When they....

Stated gathering there one by one, i thought they're waiting for them all to arrive, to whack the entire family.

packerbacker7964 06-10-2007 09:24 PM

I thought with that damn cat loooking at Paulie he was the next to go because of the Chris picture thing. That was fuuny the cat and him going at it.

I have not been this disgusted since the Giants lost that Monday night game 4 years ago against Dallas on a last second 57 yard field goal! I feel so empty! There was no closure! I guess they sucked everybody in and left it wide open to do the movie.

mclem10011 06-10-2007 09:28 PM

Good point.....

True, but come on didn't you think someone was gonna get it, it was building such tension, as the door jingled and someone else entered the diner?
