Lava Man stopped like he was chained to a stump. His owners have to be the dumb as a post and I will say that Lava Man will never regain his form. Too Bad he was fun to watch.

shipping on turf didn't do any better then shipping to run on dirt....it was worth one more try i guess....certainly hasn't hurt him shippiing in the past when he returned home.

Actually, this exacta wouldn't have done me any good. Should have put my place bet on one of those two, instead of the one of the 3 I picked who didn't hit the board. (This is, by the way, a typical thing for me - narrow it down, then pick the only one that tanks.)

I said that he is done. I am a big Lava Man fan and live in California to watch him run live. The majority horses that go to Dubai do not return to form. Its called the Dubai flu around here and Lava Man will be the same.

i don't know...his ship to japan and back didn't hurt him. as for the dubai curse, i don't buy it. invasor handled it just fine last year.

i hope i'm right too! i like lava man, will always pull for him to win. just wish he hadn't faded all the way to the back today....it's a shame to see him reverse form so badly just because he leaves his home state.
