hey steve,

the person who was complaining about the race writer down there at the fair grounds wasn't AL Stall, it was Steve from New Orleans (the person willing to donate his purse money to Find a Cure Stables)......

Don't want you getting AL Stall in troubling with the racing officials:)

great show

YO.....I am here....Just woke up after a crazy night....

Scav 03-10-2007 10:52 AM

I just realized the show is over....BLAH....I was all ready to go nuts again today, especially because Seattle is trying to mush me today

randallscott35 03-10-2007 10:54 AM

I've got to get into this next week...Was playing with my puppy instead.

Scav 03-10-2007 10:56 AM

Who called in today besides BTW and J-O-E-Y?

Grits 03-10-2007 10:57 AM

This program has been excellent a.m. listening. Thank you, all that participated. It's good to hear fine handicapping and horseracing being discussed via radio and internet.

Who would've thought a small exchange between two posters on a website would've landed on public airwaves--these exactas better show up and not have me eating CROW. It's an entree that I'm entirely not fond of.

Good luck to everyone wagering today.

Chuck Simon, Steve Haskin and JJ.

Coach Pants 03-10-2007 10:58 AM

I forgot again. It's on too damn early. It would be great if Steve tried a Saturday afternoon just for the reactions after each race.

I should go back and delete what I shared from my mentor late last night. His comments cause me even more concern.

Good luck to everyone wagering today.

Lori says she'd love for you to call in so she can hear the southern drawl...

brianwspencer 03-10-2007 11:02 AM

This is an awesome show. It's made the last 2.5 hours at work go by way faster.

If only it lasted until 5:30 pm :)

Cajungator26 03-10-2007 11:02 AM

Hopefully, you're not freezing your nuts off again, Tom... :D

Coach Pants 03-10-2007 11:03 AM

Oh great here they go with this mid-major garbage.

Hickory Hill Hoff 03-10-2007 11:05 AM

What's the address for Joey's "Countdown to March" blog site?

Scav 03-10-2007 11:06 AM

If he admits to watching woman's basketball, it is OVER

Scav 03-10-2007 11:07 AM

great idea, to me it should be Saturday night after people have had time to absorb the races. people really want to analyze and debate what happened.

Pre-races are better then afterward I think, too many people will go on yapping about craziness.....

Hell no, because that would eliminate the partying AFTER the day was over. :p

Coach Pants 03-10-2007 11:17 AM

Yeah maybe get a sybian in the studio and a video camera and upload the feed on the website for a nominal subscription fee.

A good benefit of the program is the handicapping, which would be useless after the fact. Siro's doesn't hold programs in the evening.

You snooze, you lose. Literally.

I'm one of those too...

BUT, after a nice day at the track, it's time to party down.

I kid, I kid...

didn't say to move the show, I was speaking of an additional show focused on analysis.

its not like handicapping ends after the last race. I have to tell you that some of the best thinking and handicapping prep work that you can do is after the races by reviewing the replays, thinking about and analyzing the trips of the various horses, comparing your notes to what others saw, etc.

its gets you prepared for when these horses come back, in a sense you've already done a lot of the advance work.

AJ, any time you want to party you let me know, was at Nellies last night and it got REAL interesting with all these yuppies punks trying to be tough guys.....It was a great time as I tried to start trouble and then my huge friends that were standing there all secretitively closing deals....IT WAS AWESOME

And you are surely correct. Though, Byk could be run in the ground with fatigue.

you might as well be speaking meraspeak, didn't understand any of this.

I'm sure it was a good time though!

XIIPointStables 03-10-2007 11:32 AM

What a great morning...

Handicapped, cleaned up the apartment, big cup of coffee and a great three hours on the web to listen to.

Great stuff.

oh, it was just a thought, can't imagine that Byk would have enough time for it, He would surely need to farm this one out. All you would need is a host and then take the calls.

In 1990 terms, if you would like to go out with a bunch of cool dudes chasing some tail, let me know, we were at Nellies last night and it got pretty funny with all these yuppy 21-24yr olds who are trying to act tough for the girls. Had a good time messing with them as I was starting trouble and then my huge friends were scaring all the tough guys away. Pretty funny, I act like I am alone and start issues, while my friends are standing right there, someone eventually wants to become a tough guy, and then THE **** TALKING STARTS. A GREAT TIME!!!!

If I was ever allowed in studio it would be over......I would need 18-24 hours to cover all sorts of topics.....2 of them would be a weekly session about how bad Laviolette is and possible Laviolette love childs (Chicago people that listen to ESPN1000 will understand this one)

I was all ready to call in but chickened out, did not want to sound like an idiot

I was gonna bust out the question -

Why have all 5 races in 1 hour and force the bettors, whom are not your $2 bettors playing the 5, to have to sort thru such a ridiculous gabble of races

Why not spread the action over a little more time. I understand they have to use Magna tracks, but hey give the bettor a fighting chance and don't keep throwing in those lower level allowance races when you have Graded Stakes and high end allowance races at your disposal

I would think the handle would go up
