Pretty hard to imagine that Ronald Miller, in Can't Buy Me Love, would turn into that!

That looks like high pitch Eric from the Howard Stern show.

That's cleared up and that's good.

In life, we, as women, should never expect anyone to take care of us, but we do. Its part of why we enter into relationships. We take care of them, and they in return, readily and willingly, do the same for us. And it is because we WANT to, they WANT to.

Actually that is probably what everyone, or most, hope for. Finding that particular individual.

I have a full time job and I've managed to take care of myself just fine. I'd love to make more money, but I take pride in my independence and would never be ok with being a gold digger.
And what you describe, this is success. Few women though, readily admit, "I'm a gold digger". Bad form and all that.

I also was unaware that expecting honesty in a relationship with a non-binge drinking man who has a brain (and who likes horses :) ) was considered a lot of requirements. Believe me, I'm not picky, but I've been in a few lousy relationships (including a marriage) that have helped me to understand what I DO need in a relationship.
You do have a lot of requirements, sound ones. But weighing them is necessary. Choose what is most important. And bad relationships teach us a lot, hopefully. Unless though, we are stubborn and prone to continue in making the wrong choices. In such cases, we cause ourselves pain.

The man in the above photograph. He's 7 months pregnant.

- there may be a small issue with the honesty but thats about it.

I guess I'm not coming across very clear today... not enough rest last night. I meant that I don't expect a man to take care of me monetarily. I don't need someone to pay all of my bills for me, etc. You're 100% correct in that I hope to find someone who WANTS to come home to me at night and wants to take care of me when I'm sick, depressed etc. I've dated men with money (this last relationship for example), but that isn't what I need to be happy. I never quite fit into the 'pit lizard' role with the bling bling ring, $200 jeans and 4 inch high heels in the garage. That's just not me.

And you will.

Money does not make us happy. It makes us comfortable, it makes life go down a little easier; but no, it doesn't make us happy.

SCUDSBROTHER 03-06-2007 11:40 AM

Since the women aren't admitting to being attracted to bad boys, the question should be changed, and the good boys should be asked why they are attracted to women who turn out to like bad boys? BTW....95% of the guys on here are bad boys, and almost 100% of the women on here can't get enough of bad boys.Oh,and if you can't keep your a$$ on a road that would appear still(to most of us,) then you are a bad boy.....................................Somebody tell me why I like dogs that just so happen to have no respect for what they walk on(and have temporarily taken my rt. nut out of service.)

Scuds, what is your definition of a bad boy? I had no idea that 95% of you guys were big and smelly, tattooed mofos riding around on Harley's. LOL :D

Generally speaking, I'm attracted to men who are well spoken, opinionated (as I can be :p ), enjoy the outdoors and horses (hard to find) and who are NOT big drinkers. I also will not put up with dishonesty in a relationship... I can handle a lot of things, but I loathe liars. I'd rather hear the truth at all cost... even if it's not what I want to hear.

Edit:

I should also mention that I love motorcycles. I just don't care for what most people consider "typical" bikers. Kev: You'll be sexier than ever on a Harley.

if I get any sexier...it will be illegal.

it's okay...just a bump and some color underneath the eye. I got the better of the bag though.  Told you I was a bad ass

Buffymommy 03-06-2007 02:15 PM

ha ha! only you kev would get into a fight with a golf bag. :)

Not all women like bad boys. I, for example, like nice guys with a little "bad ass" in them. I want someone who is confident, but sweet to me and my family and friends. Someone who will stick up for me so to speak when someone bashes me. Someone who will fight with me when he knows I am wrong.

I do not want a bad boy, but he has to have some balls. I don't want a wimp.

Just my vote.

P.S. I know I am a very lucky woman to have found my nice guy with some "bad ass" in him.

Buffymommy 03-06-2007 02:18 PM

And as for the men, why do you all want underwear models? I have noticed that about men. They all want the pretty package. It really is only skin deep 90% of the time.

Seriously guys, not everyone can be me! And I am taken so you are going to have to lower your standards.

Nah! I was just stating what I think about when I think about what I am attracted to in a man.

I like the one I have at home. Although he can get on my nerves.... He does make it interesting! I would sooooo be unhappy with a wimpy man. Although he has been getting on my nerves with his jealousy of Buck. I mean it is a freaking horse! GET OVER IT DUDE!
