What a sport you are Cajun. But I think you're just pumped because the big game is almost upon us. You're gonna be hard to deal with win or lose, aren't ya?

That's awesome! :D The guy that taught me to ride ended up being the head trainer at Arabian Nights here in the Orlando area, and he had a few arabs that did tricks like that. I think it's the coolest thing to see a 1,000lb animal doing stuff like that! LOL

no one actually taught this horse to do it...he was just a ham, and once he started doing it he figured out he could get a reward..then we just added the cue and voila...a trick...

but he was always a nut...he got the name crackers because he broke someones jaw:o

I have Chicken Salad roughly 3 times a week for lunch. Great deli near me.

I will be wearing three pairs of pants when I go out Beth, don't worry.

Yeah, if I get drunk enough to the point where I'm drinking tequila AT ALL, it's a bad thing... we'll just leave it at that.

feed

The neighbor's horse would do figure 8s whenever I came out with apples. The poor thing foundered and had to be put down. The mare acts like she could care less what I do. If I got apples she shows up. If I don't she don't. Doesn't like to be petted or scratched.. Just likes to eat. I don't know why I bother but she let me know which way my dog ran off to (she didn't actually tell me I just figured it out by watching her watch my dog) so... I giver her apples. Granny Smiths are her favorite.

Are those peppermints you get at Farm -n- Fleet ok for horses?

sometimes the fact that they love you for whatever you feed them has to be enough I guess;)

mints are good as long as you don't feed a ton of them...just like candy for yourself, not the best everday. my horse loves candy canes...I always buy a bunch after x-mas when they are trying to get rid of them and put them in the freezer for later

AeWingnut 01-03-2007 07:47 PM

I don't think she likes me at all. Just the food
