well, i haven't met him yet either. just going by what i see on t.v. i like 'real men' who aren't afraid to get dirty! white collar desk jockeys do nothing for me. i know how to operate a chain saw, lawn mower, etc, i expect men to be able to do the same!

Man you sound like my sister, her boyfriend mechanically
brain dead so she does all the blue collar work around the home.

Any of you everest fans see the Ominmax movie called Everest? That was spectacular being you're surrounded by the picture. One of the most incredable things I've ever seen. You felt like you were there.

I saw it in Charlotte and what was a hoot was the announcement after the movie that the Sherpa guides were waiting in the upper deck in the parking lot in Charlotte to meet. From Everest to Charlotte parking lot. Kinda felt out of place if you know what I mean.

I second Bethani's recommendation on "Into Thin Air," Kev. It's a really good read.

Mind you, in addition to being very entertaining, it also cured me of any desire to ever climb Mount Everest. Which has been further reinforced by the Discovery show.

I didn't see it on the big/curved screen...but they played it on the national geographic channel a few times and even on my regular TV it was spectacular!...when they have those POV shots looking down on the ladder etc...amazing.
