thanks to cajun's unflinching desire to spend over two hours in a car with me, and then spend two more consecutive days with me toting me all over the great state of florida -- i am a good airfare away from coming!

I travel from Ft Lauderdale to either Chicago or Detroit at least 1x a month.

I've been using Spirit Airlines almost exclusively the past six months.

I would expect that you can get round trip, non-stop for $150-$200 from either city into Ft. Lauderdale using Spirit.

thanks. yea i've been looking at spirit as an option -- i'm just waiting to make sure i get my days off before i book. then it should be a done deal, because northwest (i believe) is also offering fares to orlando RT for under $130 right now, because that's where Cajun will pick me up.

it's official. flying through charlotte on the way there and DC on the way back, but I got an airplane ticket to Orlando and back.
