Mott came prepared today.

Didn’t love Journalism going wide throughout but not sure Rispoli had a choice once he stumbled at the start. I’d have to watch again. Sovereignty got a great ride and showed a little bit of a new dimension being closer to the pace.

Speaking of something good, Bobby Flay buttonholed me walking to paddock for Belmont to show his botched Woody trifecta bet, a mis-punch $1,000 box instead of $100... good for $90,000.

Flay sure keeps alot of money in his wagering account. If it were me Id probably notice at the last second and cancel the bet but wouldn't have enough time to enter the right amount and have no ticket :D

He went to bet the Belmont, saw his balance was well north of $100,000 and thought it was a mistake.. :zz:

Jim, the entry list is showing the Jaipur as the 12th and the Manhatten as the 13th on todays card....
