Then move to a dictatorship where no one is allowed to say anything bad about the ruler.

Pre-war Iraq would have been just perfect for you.

there are some ppl who still question his decision to invade Iraq despite the overwhelming success of the new government there.

probably the same ppl who still question whether or not Ghostzapper could really get 10f.

overwhelmingsuccess?! you're kidding, right? as for being tired of criticisms of bush, that's part of his burden he carries--he chose to run for prez.
but if you'd like to hide your head under a pillow so the sun doesn't shine too bright thru those rose colored glasses, go for it.

i don't care if he has 10 ivy league degrees. that has nothing to do with success or failure regarding foreign policy.

When I saw that Rangel was talking about this, I really had no idea that Jefferson, Hoover, and Ike would've also been a part of this thinking.
Sure, a "draft" won't happen. It would be "political suicide".
Yet, if you take the time to read it, this article might give some historical context, and also explain some realities that need to be spoken to.

this is as bad as ppl being critical of Eli Manning's ability to throw a football b/c of his poor performance on Monday night.

99.9% of the ppl on this planet simply are not qualified to make an accurate assessment of his ability to play QB.
same goes for your critical analysis of President Bush.
you are not a world leader.
you dont have the experience in dealing in world matters that President Bush has and I promise you that you would not do a better job of handling the burdens of the world than he has.

dont tell Eli Manning how to play QB.
dont tell Tony LaRussa how to manage a baseball team.
dont tell DWL how to train a racehorse.
and you sure as hell dont tell President George W Bush how to be the leader of the most powerful country in the history of time.

99.9? where do you get your figures? not that it's really important.
as a u.s. citizen, and as a vet, i have EVERY right to question all of our 'leaders', including the hapless bush. his advisers and cronies are abandoning him in droves, much like rats off a sinking ship. only problem is, this is a sinking ship of state.
