Steve we need you off the DL ASAP. Get well.

Steve posted this on his Facebook page Thursday 8/1:

"Want to thank everyone for the kind well wishes and support. Was out of it all day yesterday but feeling better this morning. Going to be a slow process. Two weeks on my right side in bed; 2 months for vision to clear. Tina is watching over me like a hawk.."

Wishing you a speedy recovery Mr. Byk.

Appreciate all the authentic concern for me and the surgery. Seeing doctors this morning for a progress report.

Hope it's all good news. KP

Hope the doctor removes the blinkers and front wraps🤪🐎💰

Saw doctors and healing normally with everything where it is supposed to be. Gas bubble holding retina in place is obscuring vision and will continue to for 6-8 weeks. Won’t know how well we’ll see out of it until then. Have to go another full week yet laying down. Get to return to work on the 15th. Thanks to everyone for the concern and well wishes.

We're all thinking about you. Actually with all the posts you still are making, are you working Derby Barbee to hard? Maybe we should worry about her.

Get better Steve, and take the time that's needed.

Some good news/bad news..

Good news.. It's been 2 weeks and I'm able to stand/sit upright for longer stretches, so ATR returns today.

Bad news.. I can't see out of my left eye and won't know for at least 2 months how much vision I'll have with it. Can't drive and having trouble with depth perception.

Good news.. On the turf today!

Thanks again for the kind wishes, thoughtful gestures and overwhelming support through this thoroughly strange incident.

We'll keep praying for you and I know the battle you're up against.
Take the time you need. You have a whole lot of people behind you!

Steve - I haven’t been following or listening as much recently so I had no clue what was going on. Just want to say best of luck in recovery. Make sure you listen to the doctors. You’ll be in my thoughts and prayers.
