I’ll share a minor good luck story.

My dad was a huge horse racing fan and he passed away in September of 2017. 5 months later, our family’s favorite football team ended a 50+ year drought and won their first Super Bowl. So everyone in the family, even if they “believe” or not, sort of joked that dad had a hand in it.

Since his passing, my mom picks a horse each year for the Derby that she thinks my dad would have liked and puts a $2 WP bet on it. This year, she picked Country House. Naturally, she was thrilled when the horse finished 2nd. She cried when they put the horse up. So I guess blame my dad for the DQ, if you believe in that sort of stuff.
