Let’s crush it tomorrow! |
If I play Race 4, my wager will be an exacta 3,6/3,4,6.... the 4 hasn't learned to pass anybody but if the 6 gets bet down to 3/2 or 2/1 then I'll do some thing else possibly single into a double or P3
this is going to be fun...and Sam Houston tomorrow:) |

Early SCRATCHES on a miserably rainy @PegasusWorldCup Day @GulfstreamPark For most of the last 30 days, the weather has been ideal here in South Florida. So what happens when Pegasus World Cup Day rolls around? Yup, pure misery. It's been raining since the wee hours, and there's little sign of things letting up as the 12-race Pegasus card unfolds. The forecast calls for a 60-to-90-percent chance of rain alllllll day, with the high temperature reaching only 67. First post is 11:30 a.m. ET, with the $7 million Pegasus Turf going at about 4:50 and the $9 million Pegasus at about 5:40. The two big races will be shown live on NBC (4:30-6). There are no early scratches in either race as of 9:45 a.m. Making an educated guess that the main track will be sloppy and floated all day, and already the first 3 turf races of the card (R1, R3, R5) have been shifted to the main track; that leaves 4 stakes (South Beach, La Prevoyante, McKnight, Pegasus Turf) still on turf. There are scratches aplenty, but it's worth noting that the rematch between STORMY LIBERAL and WORLD OF TROUBLE, is still on, albeit at 5 furlongs in the soup in the GP Turf (not) Sprint (R3). Here are the early SCR: R1 (off turf): 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 15, 16 R3 (off turf): 2, 6 R5 (off turf): 2, 5, 10 R6 (still on turf as of 9:45): 13, 15, 16 R9: 1, 5 R10: 1, 11, 13 |

Prado after race 1: Gulfstream main track has good bottom Just had a quick chat after the first race with jockey Edgar Prado, who rode runner-up Thetrashmanscoming. He said the main track, rated sloppy/sealed, has a good bottom, but cautioned that it's only the first race. Still, that shows the decision this morning to close the track for training has left the track in as good a shape as possible at this point in time. We'll see how things progress as the day goes on and there is more racing and, likely, more rain. |
In the 4th at gulfstream the bottom hoss had no mishap but did break slowly, then sucked up for second. At 3-1 he is tremendously underlaid

I know that you’re supposed to ignore those big wins on the front end in the slop, but that was pretty impressive. Hidden Scroll can rock and roll.
