Will never understand Jose Ortiz leaving from the next-to-outside post, getting the lead, but then pulling to cede the lead to Rosario from the outside post in an opening quarter of 24+. Races like this make you remember why some jockeys have a clock in their head (Velazquez, Rosario, Castellano) and some just don't (both Ortiz brothers).

that 40/1 would have put me in 3rd by .20....oh well, I dont feel too bad, there were a few that got the long shot and fell short by less than a $1
