I take it you mean isn't the best way to go. I agree, hell some of the contest races (like the 7th at Gulfstream) wasn't worth a real money bet. Two of the horses making drops almost didn't finish the race.

1 was my 3rd choice, I went with 4 taken out of race at start...

Gulfstream 8th:
1-8-4
My pick and two others off the board

Tampa Bay 8th:
8-10-3
My pick went off 9/5 led to top of stretch died...8 the winner was my second choice

Yes I realize this... I just am a firm believer in my contest pick, thus my real money wagers...
Last year at HPWS I was in top 30 after day 1 missed every race day 2...
