And if I said five months ago that the Perryville would have drawn that quality of a field on polytrack you probably would have told me it aint happening either.

The Perryville got the field it did for a far different reason than Polytrack.....and his name is Discreet Cat.

Don't think for one instant that Latent Heat, Praying for Cash and, at least, High Finance would have run in the Grade 3 Perryville, and not the Grade 2 Jerome ( at their home track ), if Discreet Cat wasn't running.

For all we know performance on the polytrack could prove to correlate to endurance in the sire and the demand for 12 furlong races to prove that endurance will increase.
