Mike Welsch (Gulfstream Park-DRF Live) ago: Castellano to ride Ami's Flatter in Florida Derby

Trainer Josie Carroll said Ami's Flatter will be entered later today for Saturday's Grade 1 Florida Derby and he'll have the services of Gulfstream Park's leading rider Javier Castellano. Ami's Flatter, runner-up in the Grade 2 Tampa Bay Derby and also second in the Mucho Macho Man here on New Year's Day, had been ridden by Luis Contreras in all four of his previous starts.

Ocean Knight however is training on and is looking to get another prep shot in Blue Grass or Arkansas Derby.

The performance in the Withers was impressive, hopefully he can bounce back!

Remember being at Traver's Day last year and betting on him at 19/1 (ran 4th). That was also Frosted's first race. Bayerd (who won) turned out ok too.

Seems like an ambitious spot for him, hope he can snag second.
