No credentials on BC Day. I try and figure out places that will work based on the race. The infield was a great find since the hedge was too tall for everyone but me. I got lucky in the Dirt Mile. I thought Verrazano and Goldencents would be head and head turning for home. Turns out Goldencents had other plans! The San Gabriel mountains provided the perfect backdrop for the milers milling around before going to the gate. Finally you have to hook up with people at the rail who are dependable and trustworthy enough to leave your equipment with. It's just like handicapping actually. |
