Yeesh. 85 for Strong Mandate doesn't say much about the colts behind him.

It's a curious figure. There's a 20+ point spread back to Casiguapo (73 last), Lunarwarfare (78 in Special; 92 in MDN win) and Big Sugar (94 in MDN win), so is it possible they ran mid-60's and everyone else behind them backed up so much?

It seems too slow to be believed, but the time matches up well with Sound of Freedom (81 BSF in debut) going a furlong shorter two races earlier. The race was either mistimed or Strong Mandate was the only horse in the race to handle the slop.
