Chuck will elaborate, but sharp 3/8 zip for the eager filly today with a half gallop out in :48.. Nice return to the worktab for our Langfuhr daughter.

can't wait to see her back on the track.

She did well and despite the designation by the clocker of a handily work, she was barely asked. Galloped out in 48 and change and recovered relatively quickly. The vet gave her the once over yesterday and she said that OR was in good shape and ready to do a little more work. We will work her this weekend going 1/2 mile and go from there. I am encouraged that she was able to work as well as she did and come out without issue.

She went a little faster than expected but the work was done without the rider asking and she was eager to do more. Came out of the work in good shape and will stretch out to 4f this weekend.

she does look great.... still looks like a midget though... did chuck take these? he needs to kneel when he takes photos... so he is looking up not down

There are just so many ways to go with this...

Cannon Shell 05-16-2014 04:00 PM

The plan is to gallop her for several days so that she can adapt a bit to the new surface and work her Wednesday, most likely going 1/2 mile.

Book to English Channel and you may get a dwarf horse... that runs thru its conditions on turf

Cannon Shell 05-21-2014 05:41 PM

Going to work tomorrow weather permitting

Her great grandfather, Northern Dancer was small in stature and look where it got him! All she has to have is a big heart and determination.

Kasept 05-22-2014 06:06 PM

Took this from the side/rear to add perspective. She is not small. She is average sized..

Chuck however, is.. bigger than average..
