I guess I found the fact you thought Donna Barton was irresponsible for walking the track and having an opinion odd....yet you are watching a 15 second clip and diagnosing a horses condition from your computer screen.

That's was kind of the point - Donna might have actually walked the track instead of examining the 20ft out from the rail at the finish line with her foot/pencil. At least that may have been more plausible.

Do you think it takes more then 15 seconds for your wife to know your mood after you enter the house? People and animals can communicate without verbalizing. Animals are incapable of lying, what they show/tell you is truthful.

I don't think what Barton presented was fact. Instead I mentioned (in the post you quoted) that it was her opinion. I happen to agree with it, but again, it is opinion, not fact.

I guess I wonder what your area of expertise is, in that you are able to diagnose how a horse is feeling based on a 15 second clip. You should call Mandella and let him know what he is doing wrong.

I guess its safe to assume you've never read Steve Davidowitz' book "Betting Thoroughbreds". You may want to check it out.

I have read more and studied more than you will ever dream too, and I can tell you I know more about geology and geotechnical issues than you so don't be so presumptuous.

Maybe you should be reading more about handicapping and wagering.
