I agree with the move back to JV. He has ridden @ Ascot before while JR hasn't.

yes, i saw that in the article. but i'd have to think rosario could come to grips with riding on a straightaway.

Another Dick move by Barry imo. Why are there so many good horses owned by a Dick?

I'm pretty critical of Irwin generally, but this situation involved factors other than his usual peccadilloes. It involves some tensions between the Animal Kingdom 'camp' and Rosario agent Ron Anderson.

Kasept 04-28-2013 04:21 AM

As to Rosario overall, coupled with Anderson's famously outstanding 'agentship', he's sure elevated himself to the top of the rider pecking order nationally.

i did note in the article that they had concerns about workouts.

i don't agree or disagree with the change, just found it odd-and i didn't buy it being just about experience at ascot.

By riding Ramsey's Rockets? Rosario is terrific but lets not too excited about wins on horses that were primed to excel. Surely any competent jock would have been able to be carried to the finish line by those "well meant" animals.

isn't that what he meant by agentship?

World class rider that I have been a fan of since he was riding here in the Bay Area a few years back. The dude just rides so calm and cool, you usually don't get cheated with a sub-par ride when he rides a horse you bet on.

Definition: a slight offense

Thought I'd save some others from having to look up...

Bet you're hard to beat at scrabble.

i used the word 'lucrative' at work one day, the boss said we don't use big words around here. i didn't know lucrative was a big word....

The rides that Rosario just gave in race 2 and 3 at Churchill were pretty Awesome.....Reminds of the days when Cordero would lose the lead and nail em at the wire...:tro:
