OK..I have calmed down ...the fees won't break me maybe the service and benefits will better..I will see but if they were going this route why didn't they just allow you to use any vendor or get a different partner..I guess they got themselves a deal were they can still keep money going directly into the NJ tracks they own and TVR can increase their revenue. Nest we will see TVR buying Monmouth...
OK , I finally got in with my old account. I have my fees waived until 6/1/2013..then this structure goes into effect: Play Free UNLIMITED wagers and video streaming FREE when you wager $2,500 or more per month. Select the Flat Rate Plan or Pay as You Go Plan with or without Optional Video Streaming as your base plan. Wager $2,500 or more per month and enjoy FREE wagering and video streaming. No deposit fees. Current plan: Pay as You Go Plan - $0.25 per wager up to a maximum of $19.95 (approximately 80 wagers) per month Flat Rate Plan - $19.95 per month (provides unlimited wagering and video streaming) Pay as You Go Plan with Video Streaming - $0.25 per wager up to a maximum of $19.95 (approximately 80 wagers) per month. Includes Video Streaming - $5.95 will be charged at the end of the service month. Wager $200 in the service month and video streaming is Free! I am a causal player probably wagering about 1000-1500 a month..now they I am going to have to pay to do so. The best part is that until I checked the forum I did not even know this had happened since I did not receive an email. You could guess my surprise when I went into my 4NJBETs account and the web site was "dead". 4NJBets was vanilla with no benefit other than allowing you to bet but it worked. So why does TVG get the monopoly? Does this mean that that I can open an account with another wagering platform....probably not which is why they called it 4NJBets at TVR so that they could skirt the current law. This is just another example of how they screw the racing but I forgot this is NJ and it is just another F$uck the fan day for them. |

Does 4NJBets have a rewards program? Yes. As a 4NJBets WAGER REWARDS member, you can earn valuable points when you wager using your 4NJBets account. You can redeem your points for wagering credits to your 4NJBets account or for SkyMall Gift Certificates, which may be used to purchase over 8,000 products in the SkyMall Catalog. For additional detail regarding 4NJBets Rewards go to 4NJBets Wager Rewards. |

this is probably old news, but saw this on drf. I thought the change may have come due to the internet gambling law, but it may be related to this

It only took me 4 hours to get someone on the phone to get my new account number, and after 6/1 I will to pay a fee to place a bet. Now that sounds like a great deal. When I call my sportsbook they pick up the phone and you don't have to pay to bet.

I think 4 NJBETS is only running the show in name to keep the monopoly and prevent use of other ADWs for NJ residents. I think this is totally a TVG operation otherwise why the TVG fees. 4NJBETs could have just paid them a fee to do it, this way in is a Win - Win 4NJBETs get to keep their monopoly, jettison their workforce and overhead; TVG gets to collect the fees and probably a little piece of the action while the NJ Bettor s get to pay the bill...who could argue with that.:D:D |

But truthfully speaking I really never had a problem with the old platform. I usually don't watch many races on the cpu, I would bet and then watch the races on TVG (on TV). If the choices were keep the old platform with no rebates/rewards and smart phone capabilities and no fees versus the new platform with all the bells and whistles and fees, I would most definitely vote old. My handle isn't what it used to be (just don't have the time) and I find it very troublesome that I will eventually have to pay fees to wager my money on this game. In this case it actually could be a deal breaker for me. |
still having trouble entries wont come up can make bets i found nj bets easier .fees to bet may be the end for me

rewards ?
First you have to signup on the website for the rewards on a link its not automatic, takes like 5 seconds. thats the good news. OTOH the rewards are anemic at best, for 2500 points you get $5, so $10k = $20.
Skymall minimum for gift certificate is 25,000 pts Better than a stick in the eye like the old system of nada, but how about those rebates of 5-10 % that others get in rebate programs.:o |
The fees is definitely a disappointment after having no fees at all.

I like the interface and the fact that I can wager from my phone. However, I won't be using it once the fees kick in. And I'm sure I'm not alone.
The main thing I liked about the old system was the card we could use on track. I didn't need to bring cash with me or worry about vouchers and tickets blowing away. Presumably the mobile site on my phone would be even better (no waiting for a machine), but at $0.25 a pop... forget it. Typical NJ. |
Thank you to the New Jersey Racing Commission for all your support and well planned out transition to TVG for all New Jersey horseplayeers.:wf
Thank you for contacting TVG. Unfortunately the new account sign up promotion or wager reward program is not available for New Jersey residents. All promotions must be approved by the NJ racing commission. At this time, promotions and rewards are not approved. Thanks, TVG Customer Relations 1-888-752-9884 |
