If the "O" line can protect him...they will be a very very tough out at playoff time!

A) McNair won't stay healthy all year.

B) They kicked a late FG for the come from behind win against Charlie Frye and the Cleveland Browns.

C) They are 3-0 against Tampa Bay, Oakland, and Cleveland who are a combined 0-8.

First of all, I love folks with crystal balls...how do you know McNair won't stay healthy? He's proven to be a warrior and he's modified his game so as not to run nearly as much...every player in the NFL is one hit away from DL but he has as good a chance as any QB not named Favre or Manning to play every game this year!
Secondly...a 52 yard FG isn't any easier based on what team you are playing...and Stover's talent was my point!
Sure they've beaten teams that are 0-8...but that is the sign of a good team, you have to win those games! Cleveland played extremely well yesterday...they will win their share, Winslow is finally healthy and their passing game is better than folks think! Tampa Bay was favored in that game...they lost a heartbreaker yesterday. TB can play with most anybody and are always a tough win! And...as I said in the beginning, McNair is still adjusting to a new team! That "O" will get better and better! This from an avid Redskins fan, I have no horse in this race, I'm simply stating what I consider to be obvious...Bengals and Colts are the best two teams right now but the Jags and the Ravens aren't far behind!

Pats just don't have the skill players on offense.
Bengals are a hell of a team. So is San Diego.
But the Colts appear to be a very good team defensively and of course Peyton is Peyton. Colts appear to have some young guys on Offense who may get better as the year goes on. I like the Colts to get it done this year.

My god Mike we agree! Look, Dallas Clark is the most underappreciated player in the NFL right now per the "experts" - talk radio etc. He is the difference maker for our time. Any person who watches every game the Colts play can not disagree. Since I have NFL Ticket I am able to watch them. While teams try and defend Wayne, Harrison, Stokley etc Clark goes up the middle, turns around and catches time and again the game breakers. Then, when they are not looking, Stokley. This new guy we got can run, 1st season in the NFL give him some more time. Rhodes will be ready when the time comes, guy played great last year and went under the radar because of James. Vinaterri will be ok, first game he has missed in 11 seasons - he is a team player unlike Mike V who was out for himself and no one else.

The defense, look I was saying this 2 years ago. It has done nothing but improve. Honestly, I see it this way 3 weeks in. Right now, the Bengals are the best team in the AFC. Second, Colts. NFC it is all Seattle, everyone else is a distant second. None of this matters as we all know cause we have 14 weeks left to play in the regular season. The key is these inter division games - i.e., Colts Jaguars and Bengals Steelers. Throw out last year (Steelers) - homefield advantage is the key. It is gonna be a fun season once again and the AFC is gonna be an all out war from start to finish.

What do you know about McNair? He led them to a big victory today.

Face it the guy is a champion.

The Pat's played well and deserved the win, no doubt about it...

The Bengals are in trouble, they have been exposed, they can't stop the run, if you can't stop the run, you are in trouble...

I would like to think if Henry played, they would have scored 2 touchdowns instead of scoring 2 FG's, because he's impossible to cover, he's taller, faster and can jump higher than any corner in the NFL, but who knows if they would have...If the Bengals go up 14-0, maybe it changes the complexion of the game...

They have some injuries and will get back a Line Backer and a Super Bowl MVP in Dexter Jackson, that will help, but probably not enought to make a difference...

Carson is getting sacked alot and looks out of sorts, given his injury, can't say I blame him...

The Bengals only hope is that the Offense kicks in like last year and they keep their Opponents from ramming the ball down their throat, I think they get better, but not enough to make the Playoffs...
