I've played more doubles this meet than I have in the last 5 years combined. When the P4's were proving difficult early on, I suggested cutting back to P3's and DD's and it's been a big boost. And watching the double will pays -- more than I had in the recent past -- has been a side bonus too.

Nothing wrong with playing doubles and I wasn’t trying to imply that there was. I was just thinking out loud about my own use of the double or lack of and when and why I stopped using that wager any more. I think it’s because I tend to be a single race player for the most part, with a few exceptions. I’ve noticed that the guys on the daily “play around” use it a lot with success. I am definitely on autopilot a bit too much sometimes and could stand to be a bit more flexible. |
