If hes Plus 700, each 10 is 70. If hes minus 700 each 70 is 10.

I don't think he meant to say this, did he? I don't bet sports, honestly have no idea but I would think plus 700 means you get 7-1, which is a horrible sucker bet in my mind.

He had to have been confused and clearly wrote it backwards. If casinos could get those kind of odds on every prop then they wouldn't be looking to replace sports books with slot parlors.

Yeah, I was going to comment on that too. That was the highlight of a pretty ridiculous article.

So White's system paired the race down from 20 to 14? Hard for a system not to work year after year if it includes so many horses.

a poster said white would be the best handicapper on this site if he joined....i disagree. that article hasn't changed my opinion one bit.
