of course that's the object. that's why i always remind people that when a pols lips move, he's lying.
and those who bought or continue to buy obama's lines( or any other candidate, politician, officeholder)-they're just naive, or have their head in the sand, or just want to believe. when he does't do what he said he was, it's someone else's fault.
when the patriot act that obama said he was going to change or kill continues with no changes, well there's a reason for that.when he and his minions say that the constitution says they can kill citizens without due process, there's logic mired somewhere too. it's just that only believers are smart enough, keen enough, perceptive enough to understand all the nuances that us dumb f^cks can't grasp. it also explains why i have a couple people on ignore, i have zero interest in reading their messages from far out there land.

Yeah, plowing through the superficial, shallow, name-calling haters gets pretty obnoxious.

The unemployment numbers have been calculated this way - independent of who is President - for some years now. Everybody knows who they include, and who they do not.

The screaming that "the numbers are not real" is absurd - because everybody who pays attention to them knows what they include and do not. They know the caveats. And the numbers over the years have always reflected the same thing as far as inclusion/exclusion, and the exclusions and caveats are already known to everyone who is reading the numbers, and is estimatable separately.

So dismissing the numbers as completely invalid is pretty absurdly ridiculous.

click 'user cp' on top left
four sections on left-hand side
look at miscellaneous-second option is buddy/ignore list.

click on that

To remove a user from either the Buddy or Ignore Lists, un-tick the box next to their name and click the 'Save List' button. or add new name to list.

it's a great stress reliever. you can post what you wish and now have to worry about nonsense in reply!

I'm not important at all. Thus your incessant attention is confusing.

LOL - I love the internet, it has great pictures of cute kittens and puppies :-)

And it's a home to the mildly psychotic.

Employment data may be too good to be true

By John W. Schoen, Senior Producer

At first glance, the U.S. job market seems to be moving in the right direction, although at a crawl. When you take a closer look, some of the data showing improving conditions for job-seekers may be too good to be true.

and further down:

Some suspect the government's formulas for smoothing out seasonal factors may be inadvertently inflating the numbers. Gallup chief economist Dennis Jacobe figures that, without those seasonal adjustments, the jobless rate has actually been rising for the past three months, hitting 9.1 percent in January.

Seasonal adjustment is a common practice used to analyze economic data because filtering out the impact of seasonal forces usually gives a better assessment of underlying trends. But, for reasons economists are still debating, this winter's seasonal adjustments may have thrown the numbers out of whack

"We think that the improvement over the last few months dramatically overstates the underlying improvement," said Goldman Sachs economist Andrew Tilton. "You will not see that rate of improvement going forward."

Goldman Sachs expects the jobless rate to end the year at 8.2 percent, barely below January's reading of 8.3 percent. That view is shared by economists at the Federal Reserve, whose chairman, Ben Bernanke, has said central bankers don't expect further big drops in the jobless rate.
