Coach...the reason conspiracy theories get so much traction is the fact that even the greatest nations tend to have very suspect folks in leadership positions. This causes folks to wonder who really is pulling the strings. I agree with many of your points especially those involving the brainwashing of the masses which has been going on...well forever. But the fact remains that while the military industrial complex does indeed rule the world, they too lack the resources, intellect and raw power to pull of the far reaching conspiracies which you give them credit for.
