Good call on Matts a Giant, SB. Wish I would have used him in the double.

No need to waste time handicapping Gulfstream. Too many race with no form and too many question marks. Just throw darts and you will be better off.

Alan07 01-05-2012 04:30 PM

Pick 4 pays $105k, yet P5 pays only $22k!

Pick 4 pool was $131,964, P5 pool was $71,588. Would assume 1 ticket on P4 and perhaps 3 tickets with P5.

That's not true and it's a defeatist attitude. As was the case last winter, it doesn't take but the occasional big hit to make out. You have to persevere and get a few to run for you.

Pedigree players take note: With Buzz the Deputy's GP10 win ($40.20), sire Deputy Wild Cat is now 8 for 35 (22%) with 'first time turf' starters.

Meh.. They didn't run. High Resolve an old favorite too from days with Gilchrist. Still a fun day of play. Hope everyone caught a little something along the way.

I feel like the only thing I caught was a case of the clap.

Its ok Steve. Not jumping the bridge yet. Actually have had a few hits and am still up for the meet. Just too many races with long layoffs, 1st time turf etc. More guesswork than handicapping invoved. You really need to pick your spots.
