:o Thanks all.. That was very nice of Steve to write. So many people contribute to ATR. I'm just a traffic cop...

Don't cut yourself short -- you're just a well-dressed traffic cop. :D

I completely agree with the accolades. I'm a relatively new horseplayer (5 years) - and Steve's show has contributed greatly to my understanding, appreciation and enjoyment of it.

Thanks Steve (and Steve).

Just think, if you hadn't banned me for a year, you might have already won an Eclipse. That might hang on your record like steroids hangs on Barry Bonds.

Great show, great work. Having hosted a talk radio show a few times here in Los Angeles, I know how hard it can be and how much work and preparation goes into it. Much more than a traffic cop. We appreciate your efforts.

I can't believe I'm about to do this.

What kind of radio show did you host a few times?

King Glorious 12-10-2011 09:24 PM

Well, guest co-host is more accurate. A friend of mine had a local sports radio show and I went in a few times and co-hosted with him and a few more times made guest appearances. As I said, it was just a local show although it was pretty highly rated in LA and he did go national on Sporting News radio for awhile.

Are you sure the mic wasn't an empty can with a string?

the more important question is did he pay $55?

King Glorious 12-11-2011 09:09 PM

None of that is the point. I was only saying that I know it's not easy and Steve is being very modest when he says he's only a traffic cop.
