Surely something more positive has happened or will happen to get an award for photography. Jockeys in midair and horses falling. Gotta be something else that isn't redundant and/or bad PR for the sport. Maybe someone was allowed in with a camera while Bernardini and Zenyatta turned for home, so to speak. I'd fully expect that to get the prize.

not all, but must of the last ten years. i don't think there have been as many 'accident' photos as some think...

a photo of zenyatta and blame coming down the stretch in the classic won an eclipse.
