Give me Delaware 8 days a week over Fairplex. The horses and winners make much more since there.

The winners always make sense... after the races are run. Even at Saratoga where a lot of people got beat up this meet. Doesnt bother me at all to bet Fairplex. Losing is losing. Wheter its in a 500K grade 1 turf race at Belmont or a 9K claimer at Plex.

I was out at Fairplex Sunday with friends and took home three winners and the late pick 4 on a $8 ticket. The point is that the horses are fairly formful and If you think its small on TV you need to be there live.

I have been to Fairplex/LA County Fair. Its the biggest parking lot(s) I have ever seen in my life. I paid $10 for preferred fair parking and still had to walk nearly 1/2 mile stand in a line of over hundred people.

I was driving from Manhattan Beach to Las Vegas and made an all too unkind pit stop at the fair which took nearly a grand away from my budget.

I have a rule when I go to the Fair ground and that is don't get hungry. The prices will kill you. The parking lot is used for a car show and swap meet 6 times a year and they fill the whole thing, it's quite the sight.

I used to show my horses years ago during the Fair meet, than they took the preferred parking from the Exhibitors and that sealed it for me, way too much hassle to show there having you horse trailer 5 miles away. The races are fun to watch, more because of the diversity of breeds etc.. I cracked up Friday afternoon after the first race when the mule bucked his jockey off after winning his race, the mules do that a lot, I swear they're half broke!!!

So Gander... those 5-2 shots where you're really going out on a limb... in those 6-horse fields. You must be money with those!

Please tell us of the long shot winners you are cashing on a regular basis. They are-------- in a big pile on the floor at OTB I will guess. I love slam-in a 5/2 shoot and the more the better.

You're right... you don't hit with as much frequency. It's a boom or bust strategy. But when I win...I WIN! Not this I bet $2 and get back $5 for my win. Longshots are longshots because they don't hit very often... you just gotta find a few that do and you're set. So hit as many of those 5/2's and 6/5's as you want... it won't take me long to make more than you hitting a 15-1 on occassion. And they are out there more than you think if you truly know how to read a DRF 2hot4tv

ITS the only track left that you'll see atleast 4-5 horses PER DAy not make the turns:eek:
