You agree to spend when we elect officials to office. A challenge to the IRS years ago determined that you have to still pay taxes, even if you don't like everything the government does ;)

i think your logic here is flawed. our govt is supposed to be of, for, by...they are supposed to be good stewards of our resources. they are not supposed to be people who rule over us with heavy hands, telling the little people that they know best.

I'll be more pleased if he actually does allow more drilling, in addition to the pipelines, AND increase our refining capacity, AND get the drilling back in the gulf.

I'll be ecstatic if he gets drilling in ANWR.

I like your chart that shows Canada is 21% of our imported oil (I thought it was more), Opec countries 49%.

There is no reason for us to use so much oil in this day and age - we go through it like crack cocaine addicts.
