If you're talking about the Cubs of the late 80's and early 90's ... you sir, are truly no gentleman.

rightfully? there is nothing right about letting a woman who dumped her childs body in a swamp walk away. Its one of the sickest things ive ever seen/read.

They didn't prove a damn thing Lori...I'm not saying she's innocent or isn't evil, but you have to seperate emotion from what happened in court. If you hadn't read anything about this case prior or let that blowhard Nancy Grace pontificate nightly as biased as she was and strictly went by what happened in court, I think you might have voted not guilty as well.

This is different than OJ. He should have been found guilty based on what was presented in court.

I have no sympathy, respect or feelings for that Mom at all.

there was plenty of circumstensial (Sp?) evidence for a neglect or aggravated manslaughter guilty verdict. There might not have been enough for a 1st degree murder verdict, but I think the jury failed by not getting a manslaughter verdict.... which is somewhat of the prosecutions fault for not focusing on that charge and putting all their energy towards 1st degree murder.

Antitrust32 07-18-2011 10:04 AM

in my opinion, the prosecution proved beyond reasonable doubt that there was a dead body in Casey's car. that, accompanied with her behavior and lack of calling the police, along with finding the body right near the home where she had been staying with duct tape and other materials that came from the home... it would have been impossible for me to have let her walk out of jail without a manslaughter charge. If I was on that jury, we'd still be debating, I would have made it a hung jury before I let her walk. What I think sucks is half of the jurors wanted to convict her on manslaughter.. but they were too weak and let her walk.

Yes - all because the medical examiner couldn't conclusively determine a cause of death.

I guess Scott Peterson should have also walked as well?

Oh wait, you wouldn't hit it.

Looking forward to seeing them run.

All stallions who were precocious horses I see.

Prove it beyond a reasonable doubt? Or prove it as in having the sh!t on video tape because some people don't think a pretty white little whore would ever kill a little child of her own?

Put a man in that position - I'd love to see a man making up lies about how his (former cop) father and brother raped him - sure, the jury would buy that.

If I ever go to trial for anything. I'm dressing like a Mormon on patrol at the Church library - and acusing everyone of raping me.

Pictures please....

Even my dead Grandmother's think this was a little old-fashioned.

I doubt Bob has any interest in "hitting it", I know being with a woman who may well be a sociopath doesn't interest me. The state had no cause of death, no time, date or place of death, what exactly is the smell of human decomp? The motive was weak as Ms Anthony had plenty of opportunities to party while her daughter was alive, what suddenly changed? Peterson had a concrete motive and there was more evidence. The result leaves a bad taste but the jury didn't allow TV talking heads to make their decision, they made their own for better or worse. That's the way the system is supposed to work. The state overcharged going for capital murder.

Defense lawyers almost always counsel their clients to dress conservative, even to wear pink...apparently research has shown juries like that. Doubt that had a real impact but it's certainly common practice...hell, gangbangers always show up in court wearing suits, fresh haircuts etc.

The fashion police should have charged her after wearing this. Actually it looks a little like something Nick Canani wears.
