It's really all about the staff.

In that case, Subway is for you.

If not for a few of the awesome collection of chicks employed as Subway sandwhich artists, I couldn't get laid in a morgue.

I highly recommend this months $5 Sub-of-the-month special - the 'Chipolte Chicken and Cheese'

You're going to want to ask for that on "Italian Herbs and Cheese" - money as a sub roll whenever chicken is involved.

The key, and this is important, is to ask for green peppers, jalipenos, and Chipolte sauce BEFORE they toast it.

You truly are a connoisseur.

Augies in Ballston Spa is excellent both in price and quality. Be ready to take home lunch (at least) for the next day. Menu, directions and history on web.

Those are magic beans. Siros sells those as well.

I went to the Country Corner Cafe when I was up there in May, it is 2 blocks off of Main behind the post office.

Great breackfast home made pies and jams. A lot of locals

I believe you would enjoy Mangino's Ristorante on the Southern shore of Saratoga lake. May I suggest the Veal Scallopini.

Louie Lazzinaro (Vineyard Haven) has remodeled his former Sergio's on Route 9 and re-branded it as NOVE' (no-vay or "9" in Italian). He has added a brick oven for pizzas and foccacias, eliminated the family style platter servings, streamlined the menu, and will be open year round. Took my dad there for his birthday/father's day Sunday and had a great lunch. Open two weeks, they are off to a great start, and it will be as popular as ever come racing season.

I was thinking of doing Toga this year, but from what I hear, lodging is impossible.

I suppose I could camp out somewhere, but that would be weird, camping then going to the track.

I can't believe DrugS didn't invite you back in 2007. He had a big place all to himself.

Really? I've never known him to do something for another person that didn't involve some sort of angle or personal gain.

A true grifter among men. At least he is consistent.
