What does Evangeline do? I honestly don't know but they have huge fields consistently. Is the takeout low? How are the facilities?

Track attendance doesn't matter. Track handle does. End of story.

dont you understand that the ONLY thing that matters for the bottom line at race tracks is the amount of money that is wagered through the windows?

I can explain the term churn to you if you need.

Lowering takeout would be the best thing to improve the amount of money coming into this game.

I don't think you are, but are you saying that racetracks don't have a HUGE interest in how much is wagered on-track?

Of course nationwide handle is needed, but on-track business is of great significance and the only way you get on-track business is by getting people into your facility.

This is drastically over-stating it.

Racetracks make money from a variety of sources (food, beverage etc.) not to mention the fact at most racetracks the value of $1 wagered on-track is approximately worth 3x the value of $1 wagered off-track on the same signal.

Travis-

What are the crowds like at Evangeline? What are the facilities like? Do you know the takeout?

Take-out is the same across the board for all tracks in LA.

The building is decent, casino is nice.... the simulcast area is small, but they do very little on-track in terms of simulcasting.
