Not nearly as much as I had on him as part of "All Others" in the KDFW (Pools 1 & 2). He was by far the most attractive horse to emerge from those groups.

That's a shame.

I never thought he deserved to be at those odds and he sure wasn't my pick here but hate to see someones Derby dream end like that.

I'm playing Anthony's Cross on top (for the 27th time :D) and using Indian Winter, Mr. Commons, Silver Medallion, and Quail Hill underneath in a tri and in a super.

Seems about right (for the Cho / Full-Figured Maria tandem.)

Lil guy emptied his tank against Fluke. Now, put him away until he's effervescing. Sooner you put him away, sooner you'll get him back.

Nice ride by Gomez on Cambina. He excels at coming from way out of it on the grass.

I'm going chalk in 2 bets

Comma To The Top w/ Mr. Commons w/ All

Comma To The Top w/ All w/ Mr Commons

then some fun bets using Baffert's other horse, Midnight Interlude and Indian Winter

pba1817 04-09-2011 07:14 PM

$1 tri key 6/379/234579,10 = $54

tjfla 04-09-2011 07:19 PM

The favorite for the Derby might be 6/1....what a average group.

jms62 04-09-2011 07:21 PM

Well that seals it.... This is the worst crop of 3 year olds since I have been following the sport.

I hear this every year

I never saw Pincay is his prime - but that's hands down the strongest rider I've ever seen in my lifetime - vintage Victor Espinoza strength from the games greatest two-turn route race ROI jockey. Makes him for not getting the Big Cap with Setsuko.
