i'm pretty sure we'd still find other reasons to kill each other without the invisible giant in the sky myth. i think we're hard wired for killing.

but hopefully it would be for a better fairy tale. story telling matters. and this one is just ridiculous on all sides.

It's not a matter of Muslims dictating to us, it's a matter of common sense, caring about someone other than ourselves and being tolerant of those who may be different than us in some way. What this idiot did is not the actions of a man of god, it may be legal just as the actions of the Westboro creeps are legal...but intolerance and hatred are no more Christian than cold blooded murder is Islamic.

I agree with Scuds. What, does the whole world have to walk on eggshells for these people? What makes it worse is that the pastor is a nobody. Who should really give a s.hit what he does or burns? He's a zero.

Unfortunately with technology and the internet (you tube) anybody these days can be recognized/broadcasted. They really need to learn how to put things in perspective and realize that free speech is a right in this country (even if it is in poor taste).

The people of Afghanistan go with us or the Taliban, depending upon who the highest bidder is. It's that simple. We made great strides in the past couple of years by simply paying more for them to fight on our side. The Taliban, in concert with the local religious leaders, is clearly involved in the latest violence. It's all about whipping up the anti-American froth. It's just an excuse.

As for the jackass in Florida, he's risking American lives with his quest for another 15 minutes of national fame.

Face it the only thing these less than human animals (not all muslims just the millions and millions of bad ones) understand is violence. So if we want to interact with them the only way is by killing them or being killed by them.

That's pretty comical. American's aren't in danger because of this clown. They are in danger because they are Americans and many of bad guys are just blood thirsty radical animals that put no value on life.
