If there is anything in the universe that recognizes beautiful moments...

then one of the Japanese entrants should win the World Cup.

If there is anything in the universe that loves fat people and heartless dictators...

then Godolphin will dominate the evening.

And if there is anything in the universe that cares about journalistic integrity and its inability to take a stand against tyranny...

then this post will be deleted.

Thank you MMSC.

Godolphin beats Coolmore! Pat Cummings' head just exploded with glee.

smuthg 03-26-2011 11:31 AM

with all the **** that Godlophin has sent over to take up space in the KY Derby, why not bring that filly... Khawlah looked pretty good to me.

Does anyone know the drug testing policy over there? I mean come on the Sheikh has won 3 already. Now who is going to take blood and pee from the ruler of the country at the racetrack he owns and his money paying out the purses?

His fear of Allah keeps him honest.

lots of ground loss for gio. not impressed with that ride

Very satisfying conclusion to an otherwise humdrum card. Happy for the Japanese that can take a little pleasure out of the result.

Hope you all did well.

I had the tri here (but nothing else, damnit! :D).

He didn't win, but Cape Blanco certainly ran better than was advertised here. Lay of the century....

Me neither, thats why I thought it was respectable. The horse went on and made a good account for himself despite the ride and be 5 wide around the far turn

Tremendous showing by the US contingent once again.

Very sentimental moment for the Japanese. Also chalk one up for a grandson of Sunday Silence and my wallet!

Coach Pants 03-26-2011 02:35 PM

That was beautiful.

Kasept 03-26-2011 03:19 PM

DWC complete orders of finish at Racing Post

PatCummings 03-27-2011 03:30 AM

Can't tell you what it was like to be there amidst the Japanese winning the World Cup - the results basically allowed the rest of the night to fade into the background. Can't wait to talk about it on Steve's show next week.
