one turn race. You're grossly over-rating the horse. He was a bum compared to the past greats.

Misremembered is now on top of the DRF Watchmaker List for this division based on his strong performance yesterday.

He may have won the Big Cap if Baffert wanted him to go 10 furlongs yesterday for his first start back off a long layoff.

Will Baffert take this horse to Dubai or point for the Hollywood Gold Cup or Stephen Foster?

Where is It's Tricky ranked among 3YO Fillies?

Don't kid yourself, Jill's planning that horse's campaign.

That being said, he's not going to Dubai and I'm sure will become their handicap horse for CA races.

I agree when talking about past greats. The past 10 years his best is as good if not better then anyone. He clearly had serious health issues. If sound who knows.

I wouldn't go that far ... he was like a much more honest version of Left Bank anyway.

Of the last ten years - Ghostzapper's best race was better than anyone else's best race.

Baffert said today on ATR that Misremembered's going to Oaklawn next for the 'Cap (April 9). Then they'll plan from there.

Oaklawn Handicap also figures to have Giant Oak, Winslow Homer and wait for it... Dublin!

Nah, Dublin's not going to make it. He had colic or something recently and hasn't worked since early February. Lukas wants to run him in the Met Mile.

Dublin is the champions champion, the horse of the people.

I guess, but his Donn beyer is right with GZ.

Uh, yeah.

Can I get some of what you've been smoking lately?

The Indomitable DrugS 03-08-2011 07:47 AM

Let me guess - Barbaro would have smoked Ghostzapper?

slotdirt 03-08-2011 08:25 AM

Dublin...that's a name I haven't heard in a long, long time.

Well, I wasn't referring to, or thinking of Barbaro, when I suggested the stuff you are smoking is clouding your judgment, but ok, yeah, given a longer and sounder life, I think he'd have been able to run a superior race on dirt than GZ.

I was thinking of Candy Ride.

That Beyer was an obvious mistake from the day it was published.
