It's not very hard to see through his plan and easily arrive at the conclusion it is a subsidization program where the haves and healthy pay for the have-nots and un-healthy. We have county and charitable hospitals for these people at the present time. St. Judes, McDonald House, Catholic Charities etc. etc. etc. We also have little money after all that shopping the past two years.

So if you had a pair, you'd at least recognize that illegals are partially carrying your bigoted ass on their dime.

The PPACA is already law. It's not going away. It won't ever be repealed. Some provisions have already been implemented. It's pretty much been all over the news in January, listing all the provisions that have already started. There is no public option or single payer in the bill.

In fact, last July the United Farm Workers invited unemployed American citizens to "Take Our Jobs". Yes, citizens, come take the "jobs illegals are taking from Americans". Only 4 people accepted jobs working the fields so far in California. Even though unemployment is terrible out there.

And the people that show up at Cook County are the poor from all of Chicago, you assumption they are mostly illegal is absurd. That happens to be the purpose of that hospital. It exists to help the poor and disenfranchised. Try getting care at Northwestern Memorial or Loyola if you are illegal. Try getting wellness, preventive care anywhere if you are illegal. Try getting regular meds and followup treatment for tuberculosis (common in migrant populations with poor health care in the US) It doesn't happen. No ER can turn away anybody, but they only have to give necessary life-saving care. Nothing further. Put it this way: if it had been an illegal, rather than Gabby Giffords, shot in the head, they would have been discharged once they were out of ICU and they'd be home right now - not in rehab.

Thinking the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is going to give a free ride to illegals - it's specifically contained in the law that illegals are not eligible for any provisions - is beyond absurd.

I don't agree that illegal aliens are worthless - many of them are not. However, they are here illegally, and I do have a problem with that. And, if the politicians have anything to do with it, another amnesty for 12 - 20 million illegals could be declared. I also have a problem with that. We were promised 25 years ago that something like that would never happen again.
