You mean like what they do for sitcoms?

The Indomitable DrugS 11-27-2010 01:49 PM

Yeah - seemed like someone bumped a button on accident.

15/1 at close.

He ran a pretty solid race.

Nice to see a June foal 2yo getting every yard of 9fs already.

This horse has been pretty impressive to me so far.

Nice race by THAS, though I look forward to him not being on the lead as I don't think this is really what he wants to do. He's doing it willilngly, but I have a feeling that he'd be better from off the pace.

Mott will have to find a new jockey as soon as his next race as Johnny V. rides Uncle Mo.

Indian Charlie 11-27-2010 02:13 PM

Will To Honor and Serve get a huge fig, or will the filly race come back really low?

Tears Jerry, Tears.

That went whoosh, right over my head, lol

Maybe I'm wrong, anyway. I just read Bill Mott's quotes from a couple of days ago and he said the horse has a ton of natural speed and placed himseslf on the lead easily.........

To Honor and Serve will get a Beyer 25 points higher than the Demoiselle winner as that's what 2.81 seconds at 9fs equates to.

His last two are 95 and 97.

The Demoiselle winners last two are 75 and 76.

There are more 9f races to come - so too early to project a figure.

The Gazelle just went a full second slower than the Remsen...........

While it's true that each horse is it's own entity ... all horses run their absolute best possible races when on an unpressured lead through very comfortable fractions.

Sure that makes sense..........In any case, I love his tractable speed, but being on the lead is not how you win big 3 year old races, so I'm looking forward to seeing him try to rate, even if he's still forwardly placed.

Now that I'm mentioning it, I'm sure hey'll run 1-2 in the Cigar Mile....but big performances by Godolphin so far this weekend.

A full second would be 9 points.

Gazelle winner No Such Word ran a 91 and 95 in her last two. 2nd place Awesome Maria has run all 80's her entire career.

Without putting any time into it - you're probably looking at a 101-to-104 for To Honor and Serve.

I never thought I'd utter these words, but...

I hope Musket Man wins here!

Haynesfield is my favorite horse in here, but I don't see him doing squat today.

Barring jockeys screwing the race up that is.

Sure - he will run into horses with a lot better early speed and he'll have to win with rating tactics ... I can tell you with 100% certainty that he won't run quite as well when he's forced to do that.

I can't believe the money Musket Man is taking. I have to bet Jersey Town who seems like an overlay to me.

So when you calculate BSF then, a horses career form plays a big part in it? They assume that a horse isn't going to freak or just run too bad to be true?

You do realize that RHT pretty much assured a Musket Man win when he talked crap about him, right?

Because he won't be a better horse rating you mean? Isn't that hard to say at this point? He's a big horse who probably still has some maturing to do. Just to clarify, I adore this horse - but I don't believe in making predictions (for him for any of my favorite horses or sports teams or whatever). I'm not about to predict that he wins the Derby or whatever as that's just foolish. I do think he's very talented and will be a very good 3 year old. After that, it's a wait and see game
