What makes it best is that their top 7 are always better than any other conference's top 7. Which is I guess what you were saying...so yeah, you're right!

yeah, me and clyde thoroughly went over beforehand Mich State would beat Michigan in our cleve sporty thread. Being 6-0, no probably not.

Disclaimer- I am not a UK fan, I only live here because my wife wants to. I went to a mid-major without a football team and a Big East school. That said, UK is not bad. They are giving Auburn all they can handle right now- and would probably finish in the top half of the Pac 10 or Big 10 this year. Vandy and MSU are pretty terrible and have been for an extended period of time, but that's about it. Tennessee and Georgia are down but they will be back.

I think UK would have a real hard time finishing in the top half of the Big 10 this year. I think it's zero chance they'd finish ahead of Ohio State, Iowa, Michigan State, Wisconsin, which neans they'd have to finish ahead of all of these teams...Michigan, Illinois, Penn State, Northwestern, Indiana to get top half. Penn State stinks this year so that is likely, but finishing 5th would not be easy for them. They fit with all those schools this year I guess.

it's too bad that now osu moves to no 1. that's the worst part about bama losing.

Coach Pants 10-10-2010 10:54 AM

OSU isn't that bad. Tough road game coming up.

i don't like them. plus, it seems when they get that high and go to the bowl, they get stuffed. it's a flawed system, but i still love it.

Where is Alabama supposed to be in the polls, with a loss?

It doesn't matter. All they need to do is win out and they'll get the bid or be playing in the 3rd place bowl.

there's no way bsu or tcu should be in of Bama. i thought they would fall 5 spots.

Darren that is completely unrealistic. They just lost by 14 points and didn't look good doing it.

if a couple teams remain undefeated, boise will drop due to schedule strength.

and one loss teams should be behind zero loss teams. if there's an issue with rankings, it should be with having a pre-season ranking. teams thought to be good without a single game played need only to win to remain at or near the top. however, once the computer gets involved, all bets are off.
