Stay Thirsty would very likely run 1-2 in this race. Who are the killers going to the Juvy? He belongs right on the path he is on. |
Right into the Juvenile off of the Hopeful? No thanks. I don't like it with Boys in Tosconaova and I don't get it with this horse, who hasn't shown nearly the ability that he has hype.

He didn't break a sweat in the Hopeful, and debuted in a G3 at Churchill and ran well. He may not be a Derby horse, but the BC Juvy distance is well within his range. |

Thanks for clarifying, though! |

Some people like him, that's all and for good reason. I'm not quite sure what he's done wrong. However, where is this hype you're referring to? Uncle Mo is getting hype. Boys is getting hype. Stay Thirsty? He's not. |

I'm skeptical, but maybe he'll turn out to be something special. |

Whatever, he'll be up the track in the Juvy with no prep IMO. |

Thirdly, as much as like him and as much as I hate to agree with you, I agree with you on the last point. |

Who said he was crap and there is no reason to like him? I don't like his chances in the Juvenile with no prep and I was less than enthused with his effort in the Hopeful. Way to basically have a tantrum over nothing. |

He is an early #1 on Joey S Derby 2011 Top 10. B@T is currently not ranked. |

Look, we can agree to disagree on his talent - that's fine. As I said, I think it's a bonehead decision on Pletcher's part to train him up to the Juvenile, so although I love the horse, I'm not exactly expecting much in the BC |

Makes sense. |
What's that supposed to mean?

It's just a little premature to annoint a horse who very well may be better suited to be a sprinter/miler as a legitimate Kentucky Derby candidate off one 6F maiden win. When was the last time a Derby winner won their debut by open lengths sprinting as a 2-year old? |
