Has the makings of it. In the 2nd at WO, Emma Wilson has the 4:5 favorite DEAD LAST in 26, 51 fractions. All I need her to do is get 3rd, as I have the other two horses in the tri. She can't even do that much. I get a sense of what type of day this is going to be and I really should quit right now.

I think I am going to tread lightly until the Graded stakes.

I wondered why they were adding blinkers on that horse when they were stretching it out. And, given the way it ran, it's not ridiculous to wonder if they ever put the blinkers on in the morning. Lazy training by Maker; again.

I have to wonder if Leparoux had any kind of a plan there, the horse breaks well and he strangles the horse back causing the horse to fight and go wide the first turn losing position towards the rear then pins the horse on the rail far back before sending the horse into a wall of horses when he has run. Not exactly a recipe for success.

I agree that the decision to put blinks on really looks bad after that run.

I initially thought that after getting a perfect inside trip on the bacstretch, after the rank run around the 1st turn, that she was blocked in the stretch run behind horses. But the headon shows there was plenty of room and I have to wonder why Leparoux didn't get into her a bit. Maybe he was afraid to push her given what he experienced earlier.

Yeah it was a terrible ride and of course the horse passes the winners after the wire. I don't think it was the blinkers that were the bad idea, but the jockey who couldn't make up his mind.

Actually, I initially thought the same thing but just looked at the headon as well, it looks like he had room up the rail and brings the horse in behind others but a hole was there, on the headon the horse has run late which she probably did on her own and goes to the rail and gallops out past the field. I honestly wonder what he was thinking in the stretch there, I am guessing you are right he was afraid to push her. If he goes up the rail it looks like the horse had the run to win the race. There just didn't seem to be any plan there.
