[quote=Scav;667665]The whole Canadian money thing is gonna be comedy for me though. Never held another currency before. I know you can exchange US to Canadian at the track, but can they give you US funds for your Canadian when you are done?[/QUOT
Be careful with the money. They have coins forth at least $5. Maybe more. The first time was in Toronto a group of us left all the coins plus a normal size tip with bills. The bartender was so nice to us when we left, we figured it out a little later that we had left a tip of about 120%. So look at the coins before you leave a pile of them on the bar. |

Do not exchange money at the track....you will get ripped off and pay a premium for the conversion.
Canadian currency has a $2 coin and a $1 coin....the lowest bill is a $5....... Coach...that poutine is a Quebec thing! We in Ontario have different ways to get our cholesterol levels flying....... |

Why would you go to Canada when the best prime rib buffet east of the Mississipp is available in sunny Charles Town, WV?
(Don't plan to be able to sit at a table though unless you're willing to play $500 minimum black jack.) |
