The current gov didnt get much done either.

In other news, I plan on checking out the 85 new table games and 27 table poker room at CT this weekend. I am sure that the 5000 slot machines and the turnaround in racing, purses and jobs at CT are just a coincidence.

Delaware Park now has live table games and a poker room as well.

And they still can't fill open claiming races because they've squandered their chance to create decent racing with the purse supplements.

If it wasn't for life condition, beaten date condition and maiden races, Delaware Park would run two races a day - and one of those would be Arabians.......

As pitiful as MD racing is, at least we can still run the MD Million program.

I will be at Charles Town Races and Sl....er...Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races on SAturday night. I'm even staying at the "luxurious" Inn at Charles Town. Should be a real barnburner.

Do you bet on Woodbine or not? You brag about that place yet they are the poster child of good that came from slots.

If they put a casino in Northern KY that isnt associated with Horseracing, the money will go to the company that runs the casino and the state. If you put it at the track then the money will go to the casino operator, the track, the horseman and state. You make the call.

Put a casino in Northern KY...or even directly across the river in Cincy, that is not associated with racing and "it's good nite Irene...turn out the lites... the party's over" for TP. Most of the boats in Indiana are 45 mins. away and their handle is already off 25% since the first one opened.
