Are you upset that someone is stealing your usual cover?

I knew you didn't mean me.

What's EmptyTram? I clearly don't read as much as I should.

Boy I'll say.

I'll explain later....wouldn't want to interrupt KRAGS red boarding...is not exactly a multi tasker.

This is sad

This morning I call a buddy of mine who lives in the DC area. We were chatting and I say did you catch that unbelievable race with Zenyatta? My friend is your typical sports fan who will only pay close attention to TC and BC races. He says I didn't even know she was running. Was there any non-track promotion or marketing of this event at all? Sportscenter? MSN, Yahoo? USA Today? Who is responsible from the PR side? Putting aside all the RA vs Zen, the surface, CA stuff....wouldn't the sport benefit if these races got national attention, especially given the streak.

The Vanity just does not bring along a ton of interest.

Jim Rome gave Vic's racecall national exposure today, obviously after the fact, but it's something.

It's not the race, it's the star power, the mystique, and the thrill of the streak.

Which 12k people came out to witness. A high school football game in TX would get more.

slotdirt 06-14-2010 04:59 PM

I doubt you'd have to go as far as Texas to find a high school football game with 12k in attendance. Shoot, they get 30k to show up on some of their bigger occasions.
