No kidding...:)

I think when Mr. B puts together a pick 6, he has:

Morning line fav
Morning line fav, second fav
Morning line fav, second fav, third fav, fourth fav
Morning line fav, second fav, third fav
Morning line fav
Morning line fav, second fav, third fav

interesting mr b related story..

this past January I was all set to play Aqueduct via twinspires from my couch as per the norm on a Saturday

they cancelled after the first race so I took a look at Tampa and attempted to play around with their early pick four fo .50 and have some fun

I got pressed for time and didnt have time to handicap the 4th leg so being in somewhat of an alchohic haze I used my first three legs and plugged in Mr bs selections for the fourth leg

lo and behold I hit the first leg with a 20 plus winner.

I then looked at my play via Mr b in the 5th and hated it.

Did my work in the fourth leg and played 1$ pick 3s with my pick 4 selections in the next two legs

again with the lo and behold I hit the next leg with a 40 + winner and then the next leg with an 18.00 winner

live to 3 horses in the pick 4 leat amount of payoff was 15000
other 2 the whole pool ! 32000 plus I think..I was very confused

covered 2 not covered in p3 and p4 with 40 win bets

result

Hit pick 3 for 3800

even though I made a great score was really depressed about not hitting p4

moral of story?

Mr B = Hank G
New love for Tampa

Hey TVG instead of trying to hit pick 3, pick 4 or pick 6....how about hitting an exacta sometime this century. You may end up with some money in your pockets.

Seriously, Frank Lyons is a good handicapper. And if Todd Schrupp decides to stop trying to look like he's a smart guy...you all will be surprised how good of a handicapper this guy really is. It seem like he went to TVG 10 years ago and got stupid. This guy was really good when he did the pre race show out of Calder back in the 90's.

I remember three horses this guy picked as first time starters in the summer of 1993 and gave the "this will be a horse you will see down the road making a name for itself" Cherokee Run, Mecke and Hollywood Wildcat....all G-1 winners that started at Calder and all three paid nice prices breaking their maidens.

Todd Schrupp hit a $30 K pick 4 at Keeneland last Summer with a $48 ticket. I wish I joined him on that one
