There are 3 horses in this race that have all previously run very nice races sprinting on the turf; and they're all prices. 5,6 and 9. The 9 always pops at a price and I'm never on him. :rolleyes: He's getting some late money now.

If this were Saratoga, I'd probably bet the Rice horse even with the ofer on turf stat, not here.

I punched the Mott horse in the last, let's see if he tries harder for Juddmonte 1st out of the gate.

These courses have surpassed even those in S. Cali. Guess it must be a result of all those years of taking all those races off the turf. Wonder if NYRA thinks the courses are hard enough YET. I mean, the other day, after an inch of rain the day previous to it, there was very minimal kickback on the turf.

Once upon a time, a nice strong run on the outside got it done. Not this year.:rolleyes: Another 'given' ****ed up by NYRA.

was my first 5/6 yesterday....was a good time...i played it a little differently and singled the 1 (mcglaughlin entry) in the 6th i think...got beat by a pletcher horse...got my money back and got a thrill...churchill was straight chalk all day....
