It wasn't a crystal ball at all.

It was one of those old phonograph players (record players for you young uns out there) that was playing a record with a scratch in it.

And to further explain what I mean to the many dullards that might possibly be confused, it means the Z fans are repeating themselves like a broken record.

It helps that you don't go chucking a Churchill-rail lovin' jockey when he just won his 3rd Derby in 4 years and the BCC is there. Of course applying logic to Jess Jackson is gonna generate a reaction like when you combine baking soda and vinegar, or mentos and soda. I just find it hard to believe Calvin suddenly forgot how to ride her. I'm thinking it has to do with instruction. If he gets allowed to ride her like he did last year, I wonder what they're afraid of. I still think some of it is either not trusting her fitness level still (compared to what she'd try to do with her body if allowed) or a notion that they need to rate more than they have to deal with Zenyatta later.

I didn't know that Terry was no loger working for Asmussen. They didn't mention that on TVG. All they said was that Terry had been replaced as the exercise rider. I wonder what was behind Terry switching barns. It would be surprising if he simply quit, unless he got mad for being taken off Rachel. Otherwise you wouldn't expect a guy that is Steve Asmussen's #1 excercise rider to quit to go work for Dallas Stewart. My guess would be that Terry either got fired or he quit after being taken off Rachel.

You Rachel apologists kill me even after all this time, the ship could be sinking and you guys would still be on deck while the realists are all safe and cozy on a raft and it's a lovely view from here I might add. :)

Why, did they take away her horsey of the year trophy?

We can bash coast to coast all we want but we are fortunate that we have two horses that garner the attention these two do. We should be thankful for this first and foremost and hope these two stay in the game for the year for a sport that is such shambles from coast to coast with horrible synthetic tracks which are virtually worthless to bet on, to tracks that are on the verge of shutting down or not having a meet this year due to horrific state government. Support each other here vs the bashing an we can hopefully make a difference in the future.

Yeah this keen wit is great judge of realists.

This is from the misguided genius who thought Simon Bray was inept when in reality from 2000 to 2002 he was 58-for-254 (23% wins) and had a great $2.82 ROI. He was 7 for 21 in Graded Stakes races and won Grade 1 stakes with two different horses.

Must be embarrassing being Zenyatta

all that talent, and her trainer keeps entering her against molasses.

She's probably wondering when she's actually going to have a real race.

By then, age will have probably taken its toll and it will be too late.

yeah, she can't get a real race. theres no one even close to her right now. the only horse i can see challenging her runs hardly ever and the horse that was supposed to beat her, done chickened out and can't even beat the molasses that zenyatta would spit on.

Cute.

I guess being given great talent right off the bat had nothing to do with those phony numbers, right?

And riddle me this Mr. Twig, if he got off to such a great start in his training career, why, just two short years after his 58 for 254 streak, was he an analyst for TVG???

I can't wait to hear this one, though I feel that I'll have to wait forever.

There was nothing stopping Zenyatta from being nominated to the Met Mile!

Oh wait, except this I suppose. Well then I guess Rachel can be excused from shipping West. I mean you wouldn't want Rachel to cross those fearsome Rockies.

By the way, I think it's kinda cute that you kept DrugS post rebuking my anti-Bray sentiments fresh in your mind as potential ammunition against me all this time.

I'm flattered!

You do remember that the younger Paulson ditched him at the end of that run, right?

Yup.

Why was he ditched? I know that the younger Paulson is an *******, but maybe he felt that Bray was not getting adequate results.

More importantly, how come that effectively killed his career? Why didn't anyone else of note employ him?

Looks like exercise rider Dominic Terry is back aboard.
